Part of the mission of Basil Tree Catering is to make a positive difference in our local and regional community. Basil Tree makes food donations valued at approximately 10% of our net profits each year to various organizations. The following is a list of some of the organizations that we support.

These outdoor community fridges, often built under a roof alongside some pantry shelves, are typically monitored and stocked by volunteers, filled with everything from fresh produce to canned goods and sometimes even toiletries and other non-food household essentials.
The City of Cambridge has provided generous organizational efforts and funding to partner with local restaurants and caterers to provide weekly meals for individuals experiencing homelessness.
